Secretary:  On May 23, 2010, was held at the Moscow State University "M. V. Lomonosov" Third International Conference "Universities and Community: The Universities Cooperation and Development in the21-st century. This conference was organized by Moscow University "Lomonosov" and the Black Sea Universities Networks (BSUN). In this conference, took part PUT Rector, Academic Jorgaq Kaçani and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Frederik Premti. On 24 April 2010, at the Research Institute for Steel and Alloys (MISiS) in Moscow, was also organized the Congress of common election of the Black Sea Universities Networks (BSUN). In this Congress, Akad. Kaçani presented the paper "Current Status and Priorities of Higher Education in Albania". In the last session of this Congress, under the statute the BSUN, since the mandate of BSUN President is biennial and rotates, was done the transfer of the BSUN Presidency by the Academic Zgurovski, Rector of Kiev National Technical University, Ukraine, to Prof. Livanov, Dean of the Research Institute for Steel and Alloys (MISiS) in Moscow, Russia. Simultaneously, according to the Statute of BSUN, became the choice of Academic Kaçani as BSUN next President, whose term will begin in 2012. Visit of Ambassador Silvano Pedrollo in PUT  On 26 June 2010, Ambassador Silvano Pedrollo paid a visit to PUT, along with the accompanying delegation. Mr. Pedrollo is known in PUT for sponsoring the Library of FMI. He was received at the Rectorate by Rector, Academic Jorgaq Kaçani and other members of the Rectorate. Mr. Pedrollo visited the great hall of the Rectorate and expressed willingness to sponsor the cost of its restructuring and modernization.
