Department of International Relations, covers all relations with foreign universities, the implementation of agreements related with them, the activities under the framework of European University Networks, the Balkans and beyond, the implementation of international projects, in which the institution participates in accordance with Albanian State laws. In close relation with faculties, it performs the following tasks:

- It makes efforts for intercollegiate relations, the signing of bilateral or multilateral agreements, it drafts the projects of the agreements, and presents them to the Rector for approval;

- It tracks the implementation of intercollegiate agreements, according to financial possibilities of the institution; it cares that for their implementation to be drafted implementation programs with each of the universities;

- It cares for the fulfillment of the requirements of the faculties for the organization of the international activities, approved by the Rector, inside and outside the country, compiling, along with them, the respective programs;

- It tracks along with the faculties the implementation of scholarship abroad for pedagogues and students, within the framework of interstate agreements, intercollegiate, international programs in which the Polytechnic University of Tirana participates or under the framework of albanian government projects.

- It follows the links on the context of the European University Networks, Balkans, etc.

- It ensures the recognition of the Polytechnic University of Tirana abroad;

- It cares to extract brochures and information leaflets of the institution in foreign language;

- It collects information from intercollegiate and government organisms that are of interest to PUT (TEMPUS, AUF, CUM, UNICA, SEFI, BSUN, etc).
